Sunday Spotlight | Steven McNutt @ DenseMode / by MBNE

Every Sunday, I will highlight some of the great blog series, videos, training materials and other useful content that the networking community has to offer.

For this Sunday Spotlight at mbne.net, I want to highlight some great content from Steven McNutt over at densemode.com.

Steven is responsible for some really useful, detailed content for all Security focused engineers and CCIE candidates out there.

Not only did he document his journey at densemode.com to his second CCIE in Security (Steve is a dual CCIE in Enterprise and Security - #6495), he provided a really detailed blog post on how he achieved it, including the resources he used, his approach to the exam blueprint, how he organised his studies and how he overcame the challenges he faced along the way.

Steven also writes extensively on topics like PKI for Network Engineers, which I personally found to be a great resource on a security topic that is often overlooked in favour of lesser, simpler implementations.

He also provides some great tips and guides for a range of other technologies in the Security domain, as well as others. I would encourage you to take a close look at the different categories of posts he has contributed over the years, which include PKI, ISE, DevOps, Routing and of course - CCIE.

Steven is on social media at Twitter and I recommend you keep an eye on his site as well.
